It is Time

Having spent over ten years in training, trusting the Lord at every turn, working bi-vocationally to meet the needs of my family and Church – now has arrived the next chapter of service – to put to good use those years of prepartion. Unquestionably this Ministry is a leap of faith, a leap into the unknown, driven by a passion to see the Church of Jesus Christ theologically equipped, trained and prepared – that all may “contend earnestly for the faith that was once for all time handed down to the saints” (Jude 1:1).

What makes this Ministry different?

Admittedly there are literally thousands of Christian ministries offering help, advice and sound doctrine, never before in human History has the Church been so well provided for service. I certainly have no desire to compete with that which is already well established.

This Ministry is different in that its focus is not merely to share knowledge but to encourage Christians to “teach themselves” through sound hermeneutics – the art of interpretation. It is a tragic inditement but suffice to say an anti-intellectualism predominates in many Church settings. Proverbs 18:15 says “An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge” – likewise Solomon recognised the practical outworking of truth “For the protection of wisdom is like the protection of money, and the advantage of knowledge is that wisdom preserves the life of him who has it”.

It is my confession and my prayer that our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ will use this fledgling Ministry to teach and equip the wider body of Christ, to reach and support those exiting high control religions.

He will provide

Giving expresses self-sacrifice and reflects the heart of God; “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life” (John 3:16). My sacrifice is to give myself to works of service for the Glory of HIS wonderful name.

Philippians 4:17-19 “Not that I seek the gift itself, but I seek for the profit which increases to your account. But I have received everything in full and have an abundance; I am amply supplied, having received from Epaphroditus what you have sent, a fragrant aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well-pleasing to God. And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus”.
